Santa Rosa Southside is a regionally-focused shopping center in the strong northern California market that extends from north of the Golden Gate Bridge to beyond Fort Bragg and includes Napa and Clearlake. The shopping center is at the first Santa Rosa exit from Highway 101 from the south – the prime location for retail from San Francisco to the Oregon border. The center is adjacent to and across from two additional major shopping centers on Santa Rosa Avenue, creating a powerful draw for shoppers and making access easy and convenient to over 50 major and specialty stores.

Santa Rosa is the county seat of Sonoma County and its largest city, with a population of approximately 155,000. City has been named one of the nation’s ‘most livable communities’ by Partners for Livable Communities. The Sonoma County area is well known for outstanding wineries, the breathtaking Pacific Ocean coastline, and exquisite cuisine created from its orchards, gardens and fields.

Santa Rosa Southside is at the heart of a prime retail trade area in northern California. The regional trade area is approximately 675,000 in population. According to the City of Santa Rosa’s Retail Market Analysis, population is expected to increase to almost 700,000 by 2012. The immediate market area includes the growing cities of Petaluma, Rohnert Park, and Windsor, in addition to Santa Rosa.

The center was developed by Metrovation in 1984 and is continually updated with new stores, storefronts, and landscaping. In addition to a strong performing Party City, Santa Rosa Southside has the only Toys R Us, Cost Plus World Market and REI stores on the Highway 101 corridor from north of Marin County to the Oregon border.
