Santa Rosa Southside is a regionally-focused shopping center in the strong northern California market that extends from north of the Golden Gate Bridge to beyond Fort Bragg and includes Napa and Clearlake. The shopping center is at the first Santa Rosa exit from Highway 101 from the south – the prime location for retail from San Francisco to the Oregon border. Santa Rosa is the county seat of Sonoma County and its largest city, with a population of approximately 155,000. The center was developed by Metrovation in 1984 and is continually updated with new stores, storefronts, and landscaping. In addition to a strong performing Party City, Santa Rosa Southside has the only Toys R Us, Cost Plus World Market and REI stores on the Highway 101 corridor from north of Marin County to the Oregon border.
