Healdsburg is an historic town in the heart of the North Sonoma Wine County, an area rich with wineries, fine restaurants, and organic farms and ranches. Unique shops and local businesses surround the town’s central Spanish style plaza, attracting vistors and travelers throughout the year. The plaza is one of the few remaining examples of early California town planning in existence today, reflecting the history of the area in its architecture and scale.

Metrovation’s experience creating lifestyle shopping centers and revitalizing urban areas was critical to our success with Hotel Healdsburg. Although the town had long been a destination for travelers and visitors, there was not a unifying project that represented the area’s sophistication until we created Hotel Healdsburg.

The hotel was designed to complement but not overwhelm the town’s existing storefront architecture. As a result, Healdsburg’s plaza is now anchored by a stylish, high-design hotel, which also succeeds in encompassing the wine country’s inviting simplicity and charm.

The hotel includes 9,500 square feet of retail as well as Charlie Palmer’s acclaimed restaurant, Dry Creek Kitchen.

Hotel Healdsburg has been featured in several publications, including Architectural Digest, which says that “Hotel Healdsburg has redefined the inn.”
